Clinical Associate (supervised)

How I work

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with integration of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) principles where appropriate. I focus on helping clients understand the patterns that maintain emotional distress, including unhelpful thinking styles, behavioural cycles, and difficulties with emotional regulation.

Many clients come to therapy feeling caught in recurring patterns that no longer serve them but are difficult to shift. I work collaboratively to develop a clear and structured understanding of these patterns, while introducing targeted, evidence-based strategies to create meaningful change. My approach balances insight with action, helping clients strengthen their ability to respond to emotions, navigate relationships more effectively, and move toward a greater sense of stability, direction, and self-understanding.

Who I am
I am a Clinical Associate completing my Master of Psychology (M.Psy) at Adler Graduate Professional School and pursuing registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.

My clinical training includes experience in both psychotherapy and psychological assessment, including exposure to forensic assessment contexts, which informs a structured and comprehensive approach to case conceptualization. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation and interpersonal functioning. I provide services under the supervision of a registered Psychologist and am committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care that is both structured and responsive to each client’s needs.
