Whether I’m working with adolescents, adults, couples, or parents, I help clients to break old patterns of thought and behaviour that are standing in their way and help them create new possibilities that are in line with the life they want. I have a special interest in working with people who have experienced trauma and other challenging experiences. I have helped people of all ages make sense of their past experiences so that they can have more fulfilling lives in the present and future. Processing past experiences can be very painful and it is natural to feel nervous about approaching this work. My goal as a therapist is to provide a therapeutic environment that is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental so that my clients can feel safe to learn about how their past experiences have shaped their way of interacting with the world.

I also work with couples struggling with conflict, communication, sexual intimacy, distrust and infidelity, parenting difficulties, and major life transitions. Whatever issues are bringing you to couple therapy, I will work with you to communicate with one another in a more open, honest, and emotionally connected way. I strive to provide an inclusive, 2SLGBTQIA+ positive working environment and I have worked with couples at various stages of their relationship.
